Posts are entries that display in reverse order on your home page and/or blog page. Posts usually have comment fields beneath them and are included in your site’s RSS feed.
To write a post:
Log in to your WordPress Administration Screen (Dashboard). Go to https://thebattyeagleman.com/wp-admin
Fill in your login details.
Click the ‘Posts’ tab.
Click the ‘Add New’ sub-tab.
Start filling in the blanks: enter your post title in the upper field, and enter your post body content in the main post editing box below it.
As needed, select a category, add tags, and make other selections from the sections below the post.
Safe as a draft. Now venture into DIVI. This is where the fun starts…
Click on USE DIVI BUILDER
Click on BUILD FROM SCRATCH (The template I have created in the builder opens up)
Click on the green plus sign to create a row in the already existing section. You have several options here regarding the lay out of the row. Choose one. I am choosing a layout of two modules in this row. One for text, the other for an image.
Click on the black plus sign, one by one, choosing your modules. The modules you choose will depend on what you want to do.
Start with text. When you are done, save by clicking on the green button at the bottom of the window.
Now choose a module for the second column in the row. I want to add a photo for the post. Again the options open up. Click on Image. A new window opens. Click on the settings wheel. This takes you to your library. You can either upload a new image, or use an image already in your library. Select the image, UPLOAD THE IMAGE. Save.
